Hello, my dear readers!

My name is Sofia, and I am from Georgia. Georgia is located at the crossroads of Eastern Europe and Western Asia, on the eastern coast of the Black Sea.

Georgia is famous for its ancient wine industry; it is one of the oldest wine-producing countries in the world. Many grape varieties are grown here, and traditional wine production methods include the use of qvevri (clay vessels) that are buried in the ground. Georgian wines such as Saperavi and Rkatsiteli are popular both locally and internationally.

Georgian cuisine is known for its varied and delicious dishes. The country is also famous for its hospitality and table customs, where a variety of dishes and wines are served, accompanied by toasts and songs.

I am a professional brand chef specializing in Georgian cuisine with 17 years of experience. Six years ago, I moved to Europe, where I began to study the art of European cuisine and expand my cooking skills. During the pandemic, I started filming my homemade recipes and sharing them on social media. At the moment, I have over 1.2 million followers on Instagram. I actively communicate with my followers, sharing interesting recipes for both everyday meals and special occasions.

My team and I created this website at the numerous requests of our followers, as many asked for a link to the site. It turns out that many people find it more convenient to use a website. I always add recipes to the description under the video or in the first comment. However, many still find a website to be easier to navigate. That's why my team and I created an easy-to-navigate site where we publish new and interesting recipes in both English and Spanish every day. I’m hope you find our site convenient to use.
