Hi I'm Raunak, a home cook thats been obsessed with food my whole life.

As a teenager, I was inspired by my mom, dad and all the amazing chefs I watched on several cooking shows. I have always been obsessed with food, but surprisingly I never cooked a single thing until I got to college. 

I was incredibly broke during college. So much so that I would go to restaurants with friends and just sit there without ordering a single thing. I would then go back home and cook for myself. That experience of having to cook all my meals for myself is what really kick started my culinary journey.

I cooked delicious cheap meals for myself all the time, and eventually I posted some of them on Tiktok. They got a massive amount of views, and made me realize that its something that not only interests them, but helps them a lot too.

I have been creating recipes and videos for around 6 years now & videography has become a big part of my life. Combining 2 of my current passions of food and creating content is one of the best jobs I could have asked for. I'm excited to continue sharing my journey of making delicious food with you!

I'm Raunak Sunder. I learned how to cook completely by myself and have no professional training. The only bit of learning I had was my 2 years working at the dining center while I studied for my Master's in Computer Science.

I started cooking out of pure necessity. I was super broke during my college years and was forced to cook all my meals because I could not afford to eat out even once. I slept on beds in the middle of living rooms at friend's places and did whatever was required to get through those years of struggle. I started making so many quick, cheap recipes for myself consistently. 

Through that struggle this page was born. I started using TikTok to post the random recipes I made for myself. I realized that those recipes could be a lot of help to several other people. Pretty soon I had a lot of recipe videos going super viral and my page kept growing. It was the start of something exciting for me. My passion for cooking and content creation kept growing & here we are several years later.

I built this platform always with the intention of helping everyone learn how to cook and make everyone stop relying on eating at restaurants or ordering food on a daily basis.
I will always try to provide as much detail and tips required in each video/recipe I post.

Or otherwise known as @chefron.cooks. I would describe myself as both a foodie 🍔 & techie 🧑🏽‍💻. I graduated with a bachelor's & Masters degree in Computer science (Yes, I could have coded the website myself, but I was lazy af). 

I did a UI/UX tech design job for 4 years, while doing content creation on the side. I worked a minimum of 60 hours a week cause I was so fueled by my passion for food + content creation. I knew that I would eventually make content creation a full time job, & I was willing to put in the work to achieve my goal

I began making food content about 6 years ago, in the early days of Tiktok – I was instantly in love with the process of brainstorming creative recipe content ideas, & then turning that into a reality. 

To me, food content means connecting with others & making a real impact on their lives. I want to make cooking look simple, and provide recipes that have value and actually make people cook a lot more.

I'm incredibly grateful to have the opportunity and privilege to turn my passion into my career. I am forever grateful for all you guys support, and I will never take it for granted 🙏🏽❤️
