Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 tablespoon olive oil

½ cup diced onions

1 clove garlic, minced

S&P

For the special sauce

½ cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons ketchup

1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish

1 teaspoon white vinegar

½ teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

For sliders

Slider buns

Shredded lettuce

Sliced American cheese

Sliced pickles

1 tbsp melted butter

1 tbsp sesame seeds

Directions

Step 1

Make the special sauce: In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, ketchup, sweet pickle relish, white vinegar, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. set aside in the refrigerator.

Step 2

Cook the beef filling: Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add diced onions and minced garlic, sautéing until softened and fragrant, about 2-3 minutes. Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spoon. Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Drain excess fat.

Step 3

Assemble the sliders: Slice the slider buns in half. Spread a dollop of special sauce on the bottom half of each bun. Spoon the cooked beef filling. Top with cheese and bake until cheese is melted

Step 4

Add toppings: add shredded lettuce, pickles and special sauce. Add top bun and brush on melted butter and sprinkle on sesame seeds and bake for about 5 minutes.
