Ingredients

Large Jumbo Shrimp

Andouille Sausage

1 Large Cabbage

¼ Sliced Red Bell Pepper

¼ SlicedYellow Bell Pepper

½ Sliced Yellow Onion

1 tbsp Olive Oil

½ cup Chicken Broth

Creole Seasoning

Black Pepper

Garlic Powder

Onion Powder

Optional: Crushed Red Peppers

Directions

Step 1

Prep everything to make this a super easy cook! Slice your veggies, cut the cabbage up, peel & devein shrimp, slice andouille sausages. Get seasonings out and ready for use! :)

Step 2

Season shrimp generously with seasonings listed. I used about 1 TSP of each except the creole, did 2 TSP of that.

Step 3

Start by heating a pan with some olive oil and brown your andouille sausages on both sides.

Step 4

Remove from pan and turn heat down to a medium low, cook shrimp on both sides for 2 minutes. Remove shrimp and set aside.

Step 5

Cook down your bell peppers and onions for 3/4 minutes on a medium heat before adding in cabbage.

Step 6

Once cabbage has been added, add in your chicken broth, seasonings, and turn heat down to a low. (3/4 on knob). Cover cabbage and allow to simmer for 25 minutes, mixing in between time.

Step 7

Once cabbage is the texture you desire add in sausage and shrimp!

Step 8

Serve as a side or on a bed of white rice and enjoy! :)
