I’ve seen a few creators that have tried the smothered ribeyes and when I tell y’all this did not disappoint, I need yall to SAVE this recipe because it’s a MUST TRY 🔥 I wrote out the recipe below for you ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️


Smothered Ribeye 

1. Start by seasoning your steaks generously on both sides. Preheat oven to 400. 

2. Heat a pan on a medium to high heat, add your olive oil and allow olive oil to heat before adding steaks. This will help with developing a great sear!

3. Add in steaks and sear on both sides for about 2-3 minutes each side.

4. Mix beef broth and French onion soup for easier results, add into pan with steaks along with butter and potatoes.

5. Cover with aluminum foil (please use oven mitts this pan will be hot).

6. Place into oven for 2 hours and after 2 hours add in a cornstarch slurry.

7. Cook for additional 30 minutes, remove, allow to rest for 5-10 mins.
