Ingredients
2 Ribeye Steaks
½ Yellow Onion
1 French Onion Soup Pack
1 cup of Beef Broth
4 tbsp Butter
Seasonings: Chicago Steak Seasoning & Garlic Powder
1 tbsp Olive Oil
Directions
Step 1
1. Start by seasoning your steaks generously on both sides. Preheat oven to 400.
Step 2
2. Heat a pan on a medium to high heat, add your olive oil and allow olive oil to heat before adding steaks. This will help with developing a great sear!
Step 3
3. Add in steaks and sear on both sides for about 2-3 minutes each side.
Step 4
4. Mix beef broth and French onion soup for easier results, add into pan with steaks along with butter and potatoes.
Step 5
5. Cover with aluminum foil (please use oven mitts this pan will be hot).
Step 6
6. Place into oven for 2 hours and after 2 hours add in a cornstarch slurry.
Step 7
7. Cook for additional 30 minutes, remove, allow to rest for 5-10 mins.
