Ingredients
Thinly Sliced Steak (your preferred slice, I used Ribeye)
Red/Green Bell Pepper
½ Yellow Onion
Steak Seasoning
Salt
Pepper
Garlic/Onion Powder
½ cup of Flour
3 cup of Beef Broth
For the White Rice
1 tsp OLIVE OIL
1 tbsp SALT
1 ½ cup OF RICE
3 cup OF WATER
1 tbsp BUTTER
Directions
Step 1
Prep work, slice your steak thinly, and slice your bell peppers and onions. Gather all of your ingredients, this will help with a quicker cooking process.
Step 2
Season your steak with seasonings listed above, and get started on your white rice. For those who need help with white rice, I have a recipe listed in this book! 🙂
Step 3
Heat olive oil in a pan, once this is heated, add in your steak and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 4
Remove from pan and add in your bell peppers, onion, and allow them to cook down. Season your veggies with salt and pepper. Add in your butter and allow them to cook. Total time for cooking veggies is about 4-5 minutes.
Step 5
Add flour into the veggies, and mix well. It will look clumpy but that is okay, we’re making our gravy. Takes about 2 minutes for flour to cook through so add in your beef broth after 2 minutes of cooking flour.
Step 6
Add in beef broth slowly and continously mix until gravy has thickened, it will be slightly watery but once you allow it to continue to cook it should be to your liking once finished.
Step 7
Add in your steak and allow to cook for an additional 10 minutes. Serve with your white rice and enjoy!
