Ingredients

2 lb of Ground Beef

2 cup of Long Grain Rice

4 cup of Chicken Broth

½ Green & Red Bell Pepper

1 Small Yellow Onion

1 tbsp Olive Oil

2 Bay Leaves

For the Seasonings

1 tbsp Slap Ya Mama Creole Seasoning

1 tbsp Garlic Powder

1 tbsp Onion Powder

1 tbsp Ms. Dash Original

Directions

Step 1

Start by preparing all of your veggies, dice bell peppers and onions. Get seasonings out and accesible.

Step 2

In a pan add olive oil and allow to heat on a medium high heat before adding in your ground beef.

Step 3

Cook ground beef down and break into smaller pieces with spatula or meat smasher.

Step 4

Season lighlty with seasonings listed and add in your bell peppers & onions. Allow to cook together for 3-4 minutes.

Step 5

Drain meat and veggies once it has finished cooking. Add back into your pan once finished.

Step 6

Season again lightly, before adding in your washed rice.

Step 7

Allow rice to toast in the heat of the pan and get the flavor of the meat & veggies for about 2-3 minutes.

Step 8

Add in your chicken broth and season lightly again, add your bay leaves, cover with a top, and allow to cook for 15-20 minutes.

Step 9

Once finished, fluff your rice with your fork and give it a nice taste!
