Ingredients
Lo Mein Noodles
2 Chicken Breasts
¼ Cabbage Head
6 Minced Garlic Cloves
½ Sliced Carrot
1 tbsp Cornstarch
Green Onion
4 tsp Oyster Sauce
1 tsp Sesame Oil
1 tbsp White Pepper
2 tbsp Cornstarch
⅓ Sauce: cup soy sauce, 3 TBSP Oyster Sauce, 2 TSP sesame sauce, 1/4 cup chicken broth, 1/2 TBSP Sugar, 2 TSP White Pepper.
Directions
Step 1
Slice your chicken breasts into very thin strips.
Step 2
Add 2 TSP Oyster Sauce, 1/2 of your minced garlic, cornstarch, 1 tbsp soy sauce, mix well and set aside to marinate while you prep your veggies.
Step 3
Slice, Dice, or however you would like your veggies to be cooked. I sliced my cabbage and carrots thinly, feel free to add onions as well.
Step 4
Make your sauce with remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, 2 TSP sesame sauce, 1/4 cup chicken broth, 1/2 TBSP Sugar, 2 TSP White Pepper.
Step 5
In a heated pan, add olive oil and allow to heat. Once hot add in your chicken and cook for about 4-5 minutes before adding in your veggies (cabbage, garlic, and carrots).
Step 6
Add a splash of chicken broth, cover and let simmer on a low to medium heat.
Step 7
As that finishes cooking, cook Lo Mein Noodles according to instructions on the back.
Step 8
After 7 minutes, uncover chicken, add noodles, sauce and mix well.
Step 9
Simmer for 5 minutes, serve and enjoy!
