Ingredients
Thinly Sliced Beef (Flank Steak works)
Broccoli (cleaned and prepped)
3 tsp Oyster Sauce
¼ cup Rice Wine Vinegar
½ cup of Warm Chicken Broth
⅔ cup of Soy Sauce
⅓ cup of Water
3 tbsp of Sesame Oil
3 Garlic Cloves chopped to your liking
Small piece of Ginger
½ tbsp Salt & Pepper
Directions
Step 1
Preparation is key to this recipe :) - Mince garlic and ginger.
Step 2
-Get your broccoli cleaned and chopped into your preferred size.
Step 3
To your sliced beef, add in 1/3 cup of soy sauce, salt, pepper, 1/2 of your ginger, 1/2 of your garlic, and baking powder (this acts as a meat tenderizer). Mix until well combined and allow to marinate for 20-30 minutes.
Step 4
In a separate bowl combine the remaining soy sauce, ginger, garlic, 1 TBSP of seasame oil, your water, chicken broth, oyster sauce, rice wine vinegar, and season lightly. Mix until well combined.
Step 5
Steam your broccoli during this time.
Step 6
In a heated wok, add in 1 TBSP of oil. Allow this to heat before adding your meat in.
Step 7
Allow your meat to get a good sear on both sides for about 3 minutes on each side. *Remove from pan and set aside, your meat will not be cooked throughly at this point*
Step 8
In the same pan, pour your sauce, and allow to come to a boil, once sauce is thickened to your liking add in beef and broccoli.
Step 9
Allow to cook for additional 5 minutes, serve on white rice. Garnish with seasame seeds, and enjoy!
