Hi! I’m Yarin, a home baker and cook.

My culinary journey began as a teenager, inspired by my mom, an incredible cook. She taught me the basics, and from there, I put my own spin on things. My style is mostly Mediterranean-inspired, but I love experimenting with different flavors and cuisines.

In recent years, videography has become a big part of my life, so I decided to combine my love for cooking with my passion for creating content. I'm excited to share my journey of making delicious food with you!

Pasta with Basil & Tomato Sauce

Cook the pasta in a pot of boiling salted water until it's al dente. Then, drain the pasta, but be sure to reserve a cup of the cooking water.

Meanwhile, in a separate pan, sauté the minced garlic in olive oil over medium-high heat for about 1 minute.

Add the cherry tomatoes to the pan and continue sautéing for about 2 minutes, stirring frequently.

Stir in the tomato sauce, reduce the heat, and let the mixture simmer. Add salt and black pepper and mix.

Add the cooked pasta to the sauce along with the fresh basil, oregano, and about ¼ cup of the pasta cooking water, stirring to combine.

Increase the heat to medium and stir everything together, adding more of the reserved cooking water if necessary to adjust the sauce consistency.

Serve the pasta topped with grated parmesan cheese and a sprinkle of fresh basil.
