We all love a good Sunday dinner at Grandma's house! The star of the show is always the Fried Chicken, so here I'll teach you how to replicate that famous Grandma's Fried Chicken!

Grandma-Style Fried Chicken Dinner

In a Large Mixing Bowl add your Clean & Dry Chicken Pieces & Set Aside.

For your marinade mixture, in a Medium Mixing Bowl Add 3-3.5 Cups Flour. Season your flour with 1Tbsp Onion Powder, 1Tbsp Roasted Garlic Powder, 1Tbsp Smoked Paprika, 1Tbsp Cajun Seasoning, 1Tbsp Dried Oregano & 1Tbsp Salt. Whisk seasonings together until well combined. Add in 4 Cups Water and mix until smooth buttermilk like consistency.

Pour your marinade mixture over your Chicken Pieces. You want to make sure your chicken is fully submerged. Mix in mixture with your hands to get your chicken fully coated. Cover with aluminum foil and let marinate for 3-4 hours or at least 30minutes-1 hour.

In a large container or brown paper bag add in flour an season with those same seasonings. After chicken is done marinating add chicken into Container or Brown Paper Bag. Give a nice shake until chicken is fully coated in flour and set on wire rack to rest for 5-10 minutes allowing flour to set in.

In a Deep Fryer add in 1.5 Gallons Of Vegetable or Peanut Oil. Heat oil to 375 to ensure the perfect fried chicken. Add in your chicken (do not overcrowd your fryer; add 2-3 pieces per fry) and fry for 10-15 minutes until you get the golden brown color we all love!

Now you should have some nice golden brown chicken, let rest for 5 minutes and sprinkle with a pinch of salt and you're ready to serve!
