Ingredients

2 tbsp Oil

1 lb. Great Northern or Navy Beans

2 Smoked Ham Hocks

7 cup Chicken Broth

1 cup Mirepoix (mix of onion, celery and carrot, diced)

Fresh herbs, if desired

Directions
Step 1
Sauté Mirepoix in olive oil until tender. Add beans and make sure they are coated with oil.

Add broth, ham hocks, and herbs to pressure cooker.

2 Smoked Ham Hocks

7 cup Chicken Broth

Fresh herbs, if desired

Cook high pressure for 1 hour.
Step 4
When done, let pressure release naturally. Remove ham hocks and take meat off the bone, then add meat back to the pot. Season to taste.
